How we handle your information.

Vision Decorators ("we", "us") is a painting and decorating business based at 123 Mile Cross Lane, Norwich, NR6 6RQ. This page explains what information we collect through this website, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we only collect a small amount of information in the first place.

What we collect

When you use the contact form or call us, you may give us some or all of the following:

• Your name
• Phone number
• Email address, if you choose to give one
• Whatever you tell us about the job — the service needed, the property, and any details in your message

We don't use analytics, tracking scripts or advertising cookies on this site. The only cookies set are strictly technical ones your browser may use to remember things like reduced-motion preference — nothing that identifies you personally.

Why we collect it

Purely to respond to your enquiry, quote for the job, and — if you go ahead — arrange and carry out the work. We don't use your details for marketing, and we don't sell or rent your information to anyone.

Who sees it

The contact form on this site is processed by Formspree, a third-party form-handling service, which delivers your message to our inbox. Formspree processes that data on our behalf and has its own privacy policy governing how it handles form submissions in transit. Beyond that, your information isn't shared with anyone else, except where we're legally required to (for example, HMRC records for invoicing).

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to quote and, if the job goes ahead, for our own job and invoicing records — typically no longer than a few years, in line with standard UK bookkeeping requirements. If nothing comes of an enquiry, we don't keep it indefinitely.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you
• Correct anything that's inaccurate
• Delete your information, where we're not required to keep it for legal reasons
• Stop using your information for a particular purpose

To ask about any of this, email office@vision-decorators.com. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Changes to this policy

If how we handle information changes, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
